Miyako Japanese Buffet

While in Fort lauderdale we wanted something lite and fresh and also filling so we decided to come to Miyako. Ive never been here before but my girlfriend has and walking in it was a little noisy, but it seemed fun as the food is being made in front of you. So you grab a plate and pick what you like as you walk around. They had so much to choose from.....from fresh sushi to hibachi to cooked Chinese dishes it was almost overwhelming. After picking a few different things and her getting hibachi cooked in front of her we sat down to eat and this place is very good. The dishes taste great for a buffet. They are continuously restocking and cleaning as the customers are walking through the buffet. The staff is friendly and quick with the service. The place is clean and well kept. Honestly this place was a good stop and ill be back soon.

For $20 bucks for Japanese all you can eat for lunch it’s a great deal. But it’s a buffet so it’s going to be hit and miss. The chefs make the sushi and sashimi right before your eyes so it’s pretty fresh depending on the whims of the diners and what their preferences are. There are also a lot of concoctions I have never tried before. The signs letting you know what you’re eating are tiny and hard to read so perhaps a once around the circle where it’s served is a good idea before you start loading your plate. The hot food is fair. Some of it dried out a bit. I didn’t find most of it flavorful. There are no small plastic cups for the myriad of sauces they provide. I didn’t try any of the deserts. All in all, if you’re hungry for Japanese or just hungry, this is a good place to go. The staff was great. It seamed clean if a little dated. I am happy I finally got the chance to visit after visiting that shopping center all these years but it’s not really for me.

The best sushi buffet we’ve ever been to! 🍣🔥 A huge selection of fresh and delicious sushi, rolls, and seafood. Everything is beautifully presented, the ingredients are fresh, and the taste is absolutely amazing. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. We especially loved that the dishes were constantly being refilled, so everything stayed fresh at all times. This is definitely a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. Easily 10/10 — highly recommended for all sushi and Japanese food lovers ❤️

Nice variety and fresh food overall. The restaurant is clean, organized and they keep replacing the food frequently, which I liked. The salmon was tasty and the buffet had many options. The only downside for me was that the staff seemed a little rushed trying to clear plates very quickly while we were still eating. Also left feeling very full and bloated afterwards. Still a nice place if you enjoy buffet style dining and variety of foods.”

My team and I come here often because the food is really quite good, there's an all you can eat sushi buffet, great saki, carving station, assorted cooked items, a hibachi grill, and even desserts! We almost always order the buffet, it's variety and quality are simply wonderful. We come, eat, and chat and enjoy - it's that kind of place. The servers are well trained and treat you with warmth and respect. Strongly recommend!
